SN4KE [Alpha]

Please Note: This is what the description of the game would be if it was finished, this is to give you an introduction of what the game hopes to be within the coming weeks - months before it hopefully releases early - mid 2022.

The Game

SN4KE is a Local Asymmetric PC vs VR multiplayer horror-ish game! One player will be in VR as a robot character and up to 2 others will play on the PC with Keyboard or Controller. The PC players, the Snakes, will have to try and stop the VR player from escaping the building they've been locked inside of. The VR Player has to try and escape by completing puzzles, avoiding obstacles and more!

VR Player

The VR Player was created using the Hurricane VR interaction plugin and Hexabody Player Controller to give an entirely physics based experience, this leads to a more realistic experience, from the physics grab and weapon interactions up to the physics puzzles this game utilizes it all! (or at least it will, this is just the Alpha)

PC Player

On release the PC Players will have multiple snake 'Classes' to choose from, some examples, the Striker, the Blood Sucker and the Venomous classes. They will all have different playstyles and abilities in the final game! In the current alpha these snakes are very basic with a simple physics Player Controller for now but will be updated very soon!

Gameplay

From the Physics Puzzles to the Snake Bins there is a ton to find in this game! The VR Player will have to be creative with the ways they utilize their environment as the snakes slither around, above, underneath and on them??? For example there are plastic bins around the map which the VR Player can temporarily stuff the snakes into, don't feel to secure with a snake trapped in here though as they're a lot stronger than they look! 

The Inspiration

This game was initially inspired by the VR vs PC game Escape from Mandrillia, amazing game, I recommend checking it out. Other than game-inspiration the idea for the PC Player's to be snakes came because the 2 years or so I've been really interested in the creatures, lovely animals, anyways, get this game and try not to be killed by them I guess!
